How the 12-month rule works

Customer signs up via your link

The clock starts. You earn 20% of every payment they make going forward.

If they cancel before 12 months

Commissions stop when payments stop. You keep everything earned up to that point.

If they stay past 12 months

Your earning window closes at month 12. They remain your referral on record — future program upgrades may extend this.

In short
You earn for however long the customer pays — with 12 months as the maximum. Whichever comes first.
Annual plan referrals: If your referral buys an annual plan, you earn 20% of the full annual payment upfront — not spread across 12 months.

No, though it helps. Anyone can apply — developers, content creators, or anyone with an audience of people who build software. Being a user makes your recommendations more authentic, but it's not a requirement.
No minimum follower count or traffic requirement. Even a small, highly targeted developer audience can generate meaningful commissions. Quality of audience matters far more than size.
Any plan that requires a payment — monthly or annual subscriptions. The free plan and trial accounts do not generate affiliate commissions. As soon as someone upgrades to a paid plan, the commission clock starts.
Your commission is always 20% of whatever they're paying. If they upgrade to a higher-tier plan, your commission increases accordingly. If they downgrade, it decreases. The 12-month window doesn't reset on plan changes.
No. Self-referrals are not permitted and will result in account suspension. The program is designed to reward genuine referrals of new customers — not as a discount mechanism for existing ones.
60 days. If someone clicks your link and signs up any time within 60 days, that referral is attributed to you. The 12-month earning window starts from their first paid subscription, not from the click.
Payouts go out automatically on the 1st of each month for all commissions earned in the previous month, provided your balance is $25 or more. You can receive payment via Stripe, PayPal, or bank transfer — your choice.
